I know all about unique baby shower favors
September 24, 2008 at 1:58am | Category: General | Comment?I have had quite the busy night. It’s almost 3am, and I’m just now throwing in the towel and calling it a night. I was tempted to go to bed several hours ago, but I gave up the precious (and definitely needed) sleep in favor of getting some work done. One of my clients hasn’t set a deadline for the nearly 30,000 words worth of work I have to turn into him, but the other needs stuff done by the end of the week.
So what did I do tonight? I read and wrote a lot about unique baby shower gifts, cuddled with Leah and talked with Jason while I checked and updated email, and watched various daytime judge shows (thank god for DVR!).
I think I want to see Dark Knight again, but I should use those several hours that would be spent watching a movie to instead get some work done… Blech. It’s hard to work from home sometimes, because being well disciplined isn’t always easy!
Heh. Leah is sitting in my lap, enjoying the warmth coming from my body and the laptop.
