Depressing thoughts

Part of it was for our health plans, and to go over the updated premiums (they’re increasing, of course). The other paperwork was for his life insurance policy. As it stands, I’m the beneficiary. Should something happen to me, our children would be the beneficiaries.
How much life insurance should you have? Right now my husband’s policy is for $50,000, but considering that’s less than our combined annual income, I’m thinking it might be a good idea to jump in and grab a higher amount…
