WordPress plugin: Hide/Cut Post Text
December 28, 2008 at 7:02pm | Category: Blogging Tools | Comment? You know how LiveJournal allows bloggers to have multiple “cuts” of text and other posted content in a blog entry? This feature — multiple cuts — is something I’ve wanted to use in WordPress for quite a while. Well, after seeing multiple cuts in action at shadesofme.org, I did some searching and came across the Hide/Cut Post Text plugin.
This plugin offers several “show” and “hide” capabilities for written content, but the main component that drew me to it is the ability to do multiple cuts of text and other content in one blog entry. The plugin required a one-click install, and works like a charm! So if you want to write several long paragraphs about CDL training in one entry, you easily can, and use the cut plugin to save space on the front page of your blog!
Note: Plugin compatibility lists only up to WordPress 2.5, but works perfectly on my 2.7 install.
