It’s hard to become inspired to blog. Here’s a tip for anyone who is considering writing as a career: it will sap any creativity you have for personal writing. You’ll probably excel career-wise, but you probably won’t be excelling at personal blogging. I can tell you from personal experience that I kick absolute ask with writing about how to best put together baby gift baskets, but when it comes to telling you about my day? Yeah, I kind of suck.
Lately I’ve been getting a bit of inspiration from Hell’s Kitchen, believe it or not. Gordon Ramsey is so hilarious in such a jerkish manner, and I don’t find it all that difficult to come up with things to write about that relate to him, either directly or indirectly.
I’m also being inspired by No One Cares What You Had For Lunch: 100 Ideas for Your Blog, which I’m using to fuel a little mini-project at jenn.nu: 100 Blog Ideas.
