Do you blog in public? I do, at Panera Bread or in McDonald’s, but I feel rather self-conscious about it. It’s not that I’m embarrassed about blogging. I’m not! But people sometimes look over my shoulder to see what I’m doing, and I feel word sitting there writing about whatever is going on in my life while they’re busy nomming down burgers and french fries.
I also hate taking my laptop in public because I have to drag it with me everywhere. I would never leave it sit out, so when I go to the bathroom I take it with me. This means that I have to prop it somewhere while I’m using the bathroom, and then keep a close eye on it while I’m washing my hands and then using the hand dryers.
But it’s worth it. I enjoy taking my laptop on the go with me, especially since I have the Sprint mobile broadband service to use with it! I love having the internet with me EVERYWHERE I go. :D
