Do you do a lot of blogging, coding or general writing? If so, you’ll definitely want to check out Notepad++. It’s like the Windows generic Notepad, only on steroids. You get all sorts of coding goodies, including collapseable and expandable formatting, numbered lines, color coded syntax and coding, and much more. My favorite feature is definitely the tabs. Just like you can have multiple tabs in a browser, you can have multiple tabs opened in Notepad++. There are also plenty of color themes to choose from, and you can also specify your own colors, fonts and font sizes.
As for me, I make daily use of Notepad++. It is quite handy to use when I’m writing about dental discounts, or simply coding a new layout for any one of my websites.
If you’d like to use Notepad++, you’ll be happy to know that it’s free for download and use! Of course, you may wish to donate to the creators, so they’ll be encouraged to continue working on the software and releasing improvements for it.
