Results Count is a spiffy little WordPress plugin that displays the number of results found for a search. The number of results will be displayed for any type of search, whether it be posts from a specific day, month, category or tag.
Here is an example of the plugin in action:

I really love this plugin. It’s so devastatingly simple, but yet effective and useful. It’s also one of those plugins that you don’t really give much thought to having until you find out that it exists. Much like a lot of motorcycle owners probably don’t think about purchasing motorcycle covers until they seem them in action, I myself didn’t think of using this plugin until I saw it on another blog. Then I promptly went and downloaded it and installed it on all my blogs.
As far as usage, the plugin couldn’t be easier to install, and one tiny little blurb of code is all you need to use in order to display it.
