Motherhood has really impacted the amount of free time that I have. On days like today, when I’m preparing for a birthday party, and days like tomorrow, when the birthday party will be happening, there’s really no time to do anything for *me*. Not that I’m complaining, but I will admit that I am wistful, and quite envious of childless individuals and couples who have plenty of time to do whatever they want. Take my friends Danielle and Matt, for example. When they’re not working, they’re pretty much free to do whatever, and can be spontaneous with shopping trips and going out to eat and going for same-day road trips. *envy envy envy*
Oh well… having children is well worth the sacrifice (most of the time 
), and I am able to fit in time for blogging at the end of the day, or in the middle of it when the kids are sleeping, and that’s all that counts. As long as there is some time for me, and only me, then I’m a happy Jenn.
