So once upon a time DailyBooth had some sort of spiffy photo-sharing widget, and there was even a WordPress plugin (aptly named DailyBooth Fetcher) that would display as many photos as you would like to have displayed on a WordPress-powered blog. But the widget seems to have disappeared, and the plugin reports a 404 error with the .xml file it is supposed to be fetching and displaying photos from.

The good news is that DailyBooth makes it very easy for you to share your latest photo on your blog about baby gift baskets, or on any other type of website. It’s just not something that is publicized. In fact, I only know about it because I saw it in action on glam-girl.org!

So, the super awesome method of displaying your latest DailyBooth photo? Simple — use the following image URL (be sure to substitute username with your username):

Small & medium sizes are available as well (simply change large to small or medium).

Spring is coming, and with spring comes renewal, bright colors, and warm weather. In between checking out some pastel tablecloths and potential Easter baskets, and deciding upon what kind of outdoor lighting I want, I’ve been thinking about doing some blog theme makeovers. Spring is about lighter colors, and I definitely love these color schemes:

In addition to being updated often, your blog is deserving of a makeover. Keeping your CMS and its plugins/modifications up to date is good for security and functionality, but a makeover is a great way to refresh your blog’s style. Even if you’re writing about a bland topic like Danze faucets, the right look can still make the content seem exciting!

Here are a few great ways to makeover your blog:

• Choose a new color scheme. Color schemes are carefully coordinated colors that blend and contrast beautifully. I recommend Colour Lovers for finding color schemes. You can search by colors, patterns and keywords, and even browse palettes by votes, popularity and more.
• Throw in a few new plugins. WordPress in particular has thousands of plugins that can improve your website’s functionality, and/or just make it more fun to interact with!
• Spice up your typography. A simple font change can really dramatically affect the look of your blog, without all of the hard work involved with creating a new layout!
• Stylize your comments. For WordPress users, here is a great list of inspirational comments styling. The list includes screenshots of the comments in action, and the coding that makes it happen!
• Create a new signature look for your blog. Pick a logo, a set of colors, or a way of presenting your website title, and stick with it!
