Every blogger has their own collection of programs, software scripts and websites to keep them running.

For photo editing and layout creations, I rely on Adobe Photoshop. Through the years I have gone from 6 to 7 to CS2 and now CS3. I realize that Jasc Paintshop Pro is a lot cheaper, but I could never get into the program, and found a lot of the settings to be annoying. Plus, it had an overall cheap look and feel to it.

I use Cute FTP Pro and its integrated HTML editors to create and edit layouts. I outgrew Frontpage/Frontpage Express many moons ago (seven years, to be exact!).

On the website side of things, I prefer a Linux server, and WordPress for my content management system.
