I never understood the appeal of video blogging, until I took the time to try it for myself. Getting started was a bit awkward, as I initially felt incredibly self-conscious in front of the web cam, and actually deleted several videos before doing one that I was okay with. But as I got into the swing of things and produced a few more videos, I found it wasn’t too bad. Since I’m not discussing the latest big bang theory or talking about liporexall reviews, I can just relax and be myself. Of course, there are those subjects that I am quite comfortable with, such as shopping for and reviewing personalized baby gifts.

I’m currently using Viddler to host my videos. My first choice is Vimeo, but since their queue for video processing is often two hours or more, I’m obviously going to look to a video host that is quicker. So for the time being, Viddler it is! I thought about BlogTV, but honestly, live video scares me more than just a bit, and I feel a bit intimidated by the general audience on BlogTV. They have high expectations, and since I’m fat, a bit shy, a fast-talker and I just babble on about whatever, I doubt I’d fit in with the crowd.

Do you do video blogging? What are your thoughts on it? Do you have any video hosting websites to recommend?
